Why do you want it
Half the goals people chase aren't theirs.
When someone keeps pushing at something for months and it won't move, it's often not about willpower. It's a goal they took over — from parents, from the people around them, from how things are supposed to be. The body knows before the head does, and it brakes. "Why do you want it" isn't a philosophical question, it's a practical one: if you don't have an answer within three seconds, it's worth looking at whose goal it is.
A question from Seth
If nobody saw it and nobody ever found out, would you still want it?
