Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service govern the rights and obligations between the operator of SethApp service and its users.

The service provides AI-assisted coaching focused on personal growth through a conversational interface.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Registration and Account

• Registration is required to use the Service
• During registration you provide: email (login via magic link / OTP code)
• We DO NOT collect your full name, address, or phone number
• You are responsible for keeping your login email secure
• Minimum age to use the service is 16 years

3. Service Description

Seth is an AI partner for personal growth that:

• Conducts conversations focused on self-development
• Provides perspectives and insights
• Helps with reflection and personal growth
• Allows keeping a personal journal

4. Payments and Credits

• The service operates on a credit system
• Available options: Free tier, Subscriptions (Lite, Pro, Ultra), One-time credits
• Payments are processed via Stripe - we do not store payment data
• Subscriptions renew automatically, cancellation is possible anytime
• Subscription credits reset each month. Purchased credits never expire.

5. Privacy

• During normal operations, no human reads your conversations
• We only collect: email, display name, conversations, journal entries, feedback

6. Your Data

• Export data: In Settings, you can export all your data anytime
• Delete account: In Settings, you can delete your account and all data

7. Usage Rules

Users agree to:

• Not use the Service for illegal purposes
• Not share their account with third parties
• Not abuse the Service to harass or harm others
• Not attempt to bypass security measures

The operator reserves the right to block accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

• Service is provided "as-is"
• Operator is not responsible for decisions made based on conversations with Seth
• Operator is not responsible for technical outages or unavailability
• Maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the last 12 months
• The Service relies on third-party AI providers (OpenRouter). If access to these providers is restricted, we will make reasonable efforts to find alternatives
• During high demand periods, response times may be affected and rate limiting may be applied

8a. Refund Policy

• All payments are processed by Stripe. Payment disputes are handled through Stripe's dispute process
• Subscriptions are non-refundable except as required by applicable law
• Unused credits do not carry over to the next billing period and are not refundable
• In case of service discontinuation, a pro-rata refund may be offered at operator's discretion

9. Intellectual Property

• Seth, SethApp and related graphics are property of evigilans s.r.o.
• Users retain ownership of content they create during conversations and in journal

10. Termination

• Users can delete their account anytime in Settings
• Upon account deletion, all data is permanently removed
• Operator may terminate service with 30 days notice

11. Changes to Terms

The operator may change these Terms. You will be notified of significant changes by email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

Disputes will be resolved by competent courts in the Czech Republic.
