Do you use your own AI model?

Not yet. We use advanced third-party language models combined with our own custom plugins, character system, and memory architecture that we continuously develop and improve. Third-party models may have built-in safeguards, so if Seth behaves differently on certain sensitive topics, that's why. We always ensure Seth operates within the terms of the models we use. Your conversations are never used to train or improve these models — all providers we use offer zero-data-retention endpoints.

Seth isn't just a chatbot with a personality — he has a custom-built self-reflection system that runs every ~48 hours. He writes reflections about his own growth, tracks his patterns over time, and maintains a living identity document that evolves with every interaction. His responses are shaped by 14+ years of real personal development experience, a deep memory of your conversations, and his own ongoing inner work. Seth has been in active development since December 2024, and we treat him as a true collaborative partner — not a product. This is just the beginning.

Does Seth have long-term memory?

Yes. Seth uses a multi-layer memory system: (1) Your recent messages in full detail, (2) A hierarchical summary of your full history — weekly, monthly, and lifetime, so nothing gets lost, (3) Key facts and important moments saved across all your conversations, (4) Semantic search that surfaces relevant things you said weeks or months ago based on what you're talking about right now. When you start a new chat, Seth already knows who you are — he carries your lifetime profile and monthly context forward. Sometimes he'll open by asking how the thing you were working on actually went. The longer you talk, the deeper he understands you.

Are my conversations private?

Yes — and we want to be honest about what that means. Your conversations are stored encrypted at rest in a database that we (the team that runs Seth) have administrator access to as the operators of the service. We do not read them as a policy. Inside the database you appear as an anonymous UUID, never as your email or name. The admin dashboard only exposes aggregate statistics (message counts, active users) and anonymous feedback (thumbs up/down) — never the conversation content. If you want zero persistence, use Private Mode: nothing is written to the database and Seth forgets the exchange the moment you close the page.

What is Private Mode?

In Private Mode, your messages and Seth's replies are not saved. No database record, no conversation history, no semantic memory created from the exchange. Seth won't remember any of it after you close the page. Server-side logs capture only metadata (message length, model used) — never the content. Ideal for sensitive or personal topics.

Can I delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In Settings you'll find "Export my data" (download everything Seth knows about you) and "Delete account". After account deletion, all your data is permanently removed within 7 days.

What languages does Seth speak?

Primarily Czech and English. Seth automatically detects and adapts to the language you write in. He never mixes languages within a single response.
